Great Swap meet at Pipeline Surf http://www.pipelinesurf.ca Saturday - only trouble was that the wind started blowing about 11:00am. I didn't make it home until around 4:00. The wind had died down considerably by then, but I did get out on my 6.6 Hucker and a formula board.
Good upwind and downwind sailing, although there was a big wind shadow near shore as the wind was slightly off shore. I had to watch out for lots of junk the water. The lake level is quite high, so the wind and waves are picking up lots of trees, pieces of dock, etc.
Overall a good sail, but would have been more fun on a smaller board.
